bENITA has announced that she will focus on VALORANT going forward
CLG Red's Benita "bENITA" Novshadian has announced that she will be stepping back from competing in CS:GO with the intention to switch to VALORANT, where she plans to continue competing under the CLG Red banner.
The move does not come as a surprise as bENITA last played an ESEA Advanced league match for CLG Red on May 20th, when the team fell to Top 0 5-16 on Nuke. Since then, the team have played alongside former Divine member Chris "riku" Piasecki, who helped them pick up four wins to bring their overall record to 6-6.
CLG Red have been using Juliana "missPerceived" Tosic in their two most recent matches, which they lost 16-11 and 16-8 to Selfish Gamers and Northern Forces, bringing their record to 6-8. Although CLG Red have yet to announce a full-time replacement for bENITA, their record in the season will allow them to hold on to their spot for ESEA Advanced Season 35, where they'll likely look to improve with a full roster in tow.
CLG Red currently have:
Diane "di^" Tran
Jennifer "refinnej" Le
Emma "Emy" Choe
Mounira "GooseBreeder" Dobie
Chris "riku" Piasecki (Stand-in)
Juliana "missPerceived" Tosic (Stand-in)
Catherine "CAth" Leroux (Inactive)
The team have just two matches remaining in the season, with the squad currently facing off against Vipes Anime Squad on Mirage.
