ELEAGUE Major Boston New Legends stage third round matchups drawn

Tomorrow will see two teams be the first to claim Legends status — and two teams take their leave.

ELEAGUE drew the third round of matchups for the New Legends stage of the Boston Major following Astralis' comeback against North, where the Lucas "gla1ve" Rossander-led side pulled the match back from a 12-4 deficit.

The 2-0 round of matches sees SK trying to affirm their spot as Legends against FaZe, who have yet to succeed against Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo; meanwhile, G2 go into their match against Quantum Bellator Fire in good form, and will likely move on to the playoffs stage.

North America's very own Cloud9 will be fighting for their tournament life as they face the malfunctioning Polish plow Virtus.pro. Although Cloud9 have looked to be in good form throughout the last few months, Virtus.pro have always played well against North American teams — the stage is set for a clash.

The other North American team, Liquid, are faring better than Cloud9 as they reside in the 1-1 pool. They'll go up against Na`Vi, a matchup wherein Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev will look to shut down his former teammates.

The third round of matchups for the New Legends stage at the ELEAGUE Boston Major are:

2-0 Pool

G2 vs. Quantum Bellator Fire
Brazil SK  vs.  FaZe

1-1 Pool

 Space Soldiers vs.  Gambit
United States Liquid vs.  Na`Vi
 Vega Squadron vs. mousesports
Sweden fnatic vs. Denmark Astralis

0-2 Pool

BIG  vs. Denmark North
Virtus.pro  vs. United States Cloud9

The action resumes tomorrow at 10 AM EST.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Have to say, all of these matches look pretty solid. I'm just happy they didn't draw VP v BIG and North v Cloud9.
