Patsi will not be going to Malta

YEKINDAR to play EPL, Liquid still down one

Liquid will be at a slight disadvantage.

Robert "Patsi" Isyanov will not be playing during ESL Pro League Season 18. Contrary to rumors, it will not be Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, as CIS insider harumi reported.

Team Liquid confirmed to Dust2.us that Damian "daps" Steele, Liquid's coach, will be the one playing in Patsi's absence.

As if the bad moment was not enough for the European squad containing two North American players and a North American coach, Liquid will have to play ESL Pro League Season 18 without a key piece of the squad.

Despite the early rumors that it would be YEKINDAR the one missing, throwing an even bigger wrench in the works due to his IGL role, Dust2.us has confirmed that it will not be the Latvian player that will not make it to Malta.

Patsi's US visa is taking longer than expected with the consulate and his passport is not expected to be delivered in time for the player to join the team in Malta, but there is still a chance the Russian will make it.

daps will be returning to the servers after more than a year after transitioning to the coaching role, in case Patsi cannot reach Malta in time.
