Complexity part ways with AntO_oNNN after 3+ years

The assistant coach and analyst's tenure spanned the entirety of COL's return to NA and beyond.

Anton "AntO_oNNN" Van Gorp has announced on twitter that his tenure with Complexity has come to an end. Joining the organization in August 2019, he has been the analyst for the team since the time of the "juggernaut", also taking up the role of assistant coach in early 2020.

Briefly working with the majority-American roster of Complexity towards the end of 2019, the Belgian analyst was kept on board in the construction of the "juggernaut" which first debuted at the IEM Katowice 2020 North American qualifier. The team did not see much success, placing second at DreamHack Open Anaheim 2020 as their best LAN achievement in the first half of 2020.

The team went on to claim four online #HomeSweetHome cups during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and later also winning the online BLAST Premier Spring 2020 European Finals over Vitality. However, since then the team continued to struggle across almost every tournament or qualifier they participated in through 2020 and 2021. Despite further restructuring throughout 2021, the team was ultimately dropped at the end of the year.

At the start of 2022, Complexity acquired the roster of North American powerhouse Extra Salt, with AntO_oNNN continuing his duties as assistant coach. During this time, the team has not seen much international success but can be considered the second best North American team behind Liquid, attending both the PGL Rio Major and the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

In his tweets, AntO_oNNN gave the following message to everyone he's worked with:

I want to thank Complexity for the continuous belief across the years (with multiple rebuilds from scratch). That being said I had the pleasure working with 3 different coaches, 3 different managers and a total of 17 players and I want to thank every single one of them.

Also noting in that tweets that he is looking for new opportunities as head or assistant coach or even the possibility of being a broadcast analyst or "weather man" akin to recent work by Danny "mahone" Hsieh.
