stamina returns on Nouns
After standing in for Nouns on a few occasions, Bobby "stamina" Eitrem has joined the team on a permanent basis, coming in to replace Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk, who the left the squad on December 8th. stamina's addition to Nouns comes right before the start of ESL Challenger League Season 43 playoffs and will see the squad have to transition quickly as they look to claim a spot in ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference.
stamina's return to Nouns follows a number of behind-the-scenes maneuvers on the Nouns squad. After leaving Limitless, stamina told Dust2.us he initially reached out to Nouns about working as an analyst for the squad while feeling out his future prospects. While he was never announced as a part of the team, stamina had been helping Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen and co. for some time until cxzi made the decision to leave Nouns suddenly.
This change created an opening for stamina to receive an instant promotion as he was already aware of the team's tactics and had experience playing with multiple members of the squad. Interestingly, while stamina is known for being the IGL of the majority of notable squads he's played on, for the remainder of the year David "cynic" Polster will remain as the squad's IGL to avoid an unnecessary transition at an important time for the team. Heading into 2023, stamina will however, take over as IGL and as primary AWPer while cynic moves into a secondary caller role.
stamina also confirmed to Dust2.us that Christopher "cJ" Jones' addition to the squad was permanent when he joined on November 8th, and that he is intended to be a long-term addition to the squad.
With stamina, Nouns are now:
-
David "cynic" Polster
-
Brendan "Bwills" Williams
-
Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
-
Christopher "cJ" Jones
-
Bobby "stamina" Eitrem
-
Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen (Coach)
Nouns' ECL Season 43 playoffs campaign will kick off on December 13th.
