An outpouring of support from the CS:GO community sees CodyG hit his goal within just 72 hours

CS:GO community comes together and hits CodyG's fundraiser goal

Players worldwide have come together to donate to CodyG, helping him reach his $7,500 goal in less than three days.

At the end of last month, Cody Grannan, a CS:GO player who has participated in ESEA Intermediate and Open since Season 34, revealed that in addition to his diabetes, he was born with a heart disease called subaortic stenosis. This is an illness that requires surgery to be cured, a surgery that the CS community has come together to help pay for. After just three days, the fundraiser goal that Cody had set has already been hit.

Thanks to the immense support from the entire community, over $7,500 has been donated to help save a man's life. A huge reason that this goal was able to be reached was donations from big names within Counter-Strike who all banded together. These names include; Nick "nitr0" Cannella, Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis, Keith "NAF" Markovic, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Erik "fl0m" Flom, Andrei "arT" Piovezan, Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen, Helvijs "broky" Saukants, Paytyn "junior" Johnson, and Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney.

The donations that these players made have gone to saving another human being's life. If it was not for the entire community banding together, this goal would likely not have been met, and the way in which the CS scene came together is something to be proud of.

The heartfelt reaction from Cody just shows how much this means to him, which can be seen here:

All of us at Dust2.us are overjoyed for Cody and want to once again thank every single person who donated. If you would like to continue to support him, you can donate at his GoFundMe linked here.
