Circa announces their expiration date

Circa joins the ranks of smaller organizations that have begun to crumble under the weight of an ever-costlier esports environment.

With a heavy heart, the owners of Circa took to Twitter today to announce that, following EVO 2018, the organization would dissolve.

The Circa CS:GO team only recently came to life in December after the organization signed the ex-Factory Assault roster who had just come off a big LAN victory at Challenge of the Gods LAN in Espirito Santo, Brazil. The team has been doing well for themselves so far in the Brazilian Central Conference of the ESEA Open division with a current 9-1 record.

Prior to their Brazilian venture, the Circa organization supported several North American ESEA Main teams, most notably featuring Christopher "Spriggals" Spriggs and Ryan "Winsum" Johns.

When asked on Twitter regarding the fate of the CS:GO roster, General Manager Jarrod  "Frost" Huffman replied:

It's anyone's guess as to where the Brazilian squad will end up following Circa closing down it's operations, but a strong finish in Open could make for good incentive to any organizations on the lookout. Circa's next match is scheduled for today where they will face-off against AEON who sit at a respectable 7-2 record themselves.
