Blackout moved onto the lower bracket but have so far survived

New Chicago CS:GO Open Online results are in

Many teams have been eliminated in the updated brackets for the Mad City online tournament as it inches towards it's finale.

As the Mad City CHI CS:GO Open Online event continues to progress, we are left with just PUGLIFE, eRA, BlackOut and Mask Off remaining. The top three teams in the qualifier will secure travel paid for their way to the $10,000 Chicago CS:GO Open event in March.

Due to roster changes, Rise Nation's run in the tournament came to a crashing halt due to coming up against the tournament's rules and as such forfeited their remaining games. This allowed PUGLIFE a simple journey to the Upper Bracket final, and provided Mask Off the same in the lower bracket.

Results from the upper bracket semi-finals can be found below:

  • United States PUGLIFE  >  United States Rise Nation FFW-FFL
  • United States eRa  United States Blackout 2-1 (9-16, 19-16, 16-6)
