Envy complete roster with Thomas
Envy has completed their most recent roster transition with the addition of Thomas "Thomas" Utting from Endpoint. In early August Envy announced the beginning of their departure from a primarily North American CS:GO team when they left Kaleb "moose" Jayne and Ryan "ryann" Welsh behind and now feature just Noah "Nifty" Francis from the all North American lineup of 2019.
This shift adds to a growing trend of endemic North American brands shying away from homegrown talent in favor of recruiting European players. Complexity led the way for their Dallas neighbors when they built their primarily European Juggernaut and now Cloud9 also appear to be flirting with the European path with today's signing of Thomas's countryman, Alex "ALEX" McMeekin, formerly of Vitality.
