The Detroit-based organization is reportedly considering exiting CS:GO after their current team's contracts expire

Report: Renegades' contracts set to expire

The boys may be looking for a new home for 2020.

According to a report by Jarek "DeKay" Lewis at Dexerto, Renegades' contracts are set to expire in the near future, with the organization reportedly not planning on re-signing the team.

This move comes as Renegades recently performed massively above expectations, retaining their Legends spot after notably besting FaZe and G2 in the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 New Legends stage before falling to runners-up AVANGAR in the semifinals.

However, outside of their stellar performance in Berlin, Renegades have struggled recently, with the squad finishing in last place in their prior three offline appearances.

The report further states that Renegades are unlikely to immediately sign a new roster, with Renegades potentially exiting CS:GO altogether. If they were to exit the scene, they would be

the latest high-profile organization to release their team, with Ghost, Lazarus, and Rogue having released their teams in 2019.
