Complexity, like Liquid, have locked in their spot in playoffs in ESL Pro League Season 19 thanks to some scrappy wins over PERA and HEROIC. The two European squads put the Americans to the brink as Complexity just scraped by PERA and was taken to all three maps against HEROIC. Earlier in the week, Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli noted that this would be a "make or break" event for him on Complexity and he certainly showed up to prove that the squad needed him.

#4: Grim 4k vs. PERA on Anubis to win the map

Is Anubis T-sided or just Michael "Grim" Wince sided? While hallzerk gets taken down first, Grim is able to turn the 3v5 situation into a 2v1 thanks to his four kills to crack open the B-Site as Complexity is able to beat the stack and secure the first map of the series.

The early game was starting to get dicey for Complexity as they were all tied up with HEROIC at three a piece. hallzerk took the round under control as he helped completely dismantle the defense across the map as he helped give Complexity the round win and economic advantage.

#2: hallzerk 1v2 post-plant clutch vs. PERA on Anubis

Patience is a virtue, which is exactly how hallzerk won this clutch against PERA. It was a quick and easy save to an almost embarrassing situation as PERA's eco was close to pulling out the win. That clutch absolutely saved Complexity from being reset economically propelled their T-side forward.

It's good to see hallzerk being consistent in his shots. When he is on, hallzerk can be one of the best in the world and this time he showed his composure and ability to connect while being the last defender against a full HEROIC crunch. His defense let Complexity secure the round and moved them ever closer to a series victory.
