Esports Arena announce Legends Series qualifier and pair of LANs

Two sister-companies are bringing a European tournament series to the United States.

Esports Arena have announced the dates for the North American qualifiers of the upcoming $25,000 Legends Cup event, which will be held at the companies Santa Ana location.

The top four teams from the online qualifier will advance to a LAN qualifier on January 7th, where they will fight for $3,000 and two spots to the Legends Cup, which is due to be held on February 11th. There, the four team event will be rounded out by teams from China  and Europe — the teams who are still in the running for the European slot are the Polish duo of PRIDE and AGO.

Earlier in the year, Esports Arena ran a series of their own events, but clearly now are showing a move towards using their venue to host the events of other companies, as the location was also recently announced as the space for the WESG Americas Regional Finals.

The team list for the Legends Cup that will be held in February will look as follows:

Teams interested in participating in the online qualifier can sign-up via ESEA's website here. It should be noted that open registration will be capped at 60 teams, with four teams receiving invitations, and that the last day to register will be December 9th,

Keep in mind that the Legends Series qualifier will only run for one day, December 10th, so that ensures your Saturday will be open to participate in the Dust2.us Open #2!

Exciting stuff if you're in the SoCal area I suppose. I'm still waiting on an esports arena type place for the east coast/midwest.

Oh, didn't know adreN was involved, but that makes sense considering he's a Pittsburgh native.
An article I read mentioned that they want to run a community space for locals to play/watch games at.

There's a photo of him wearing a Knights jersey on their website with this caption:
"Eric Hoag, who goes by the player name adreN, is a Pittsburgh native and professional gamer who is helping to launch the Knights."
