Report: compLexity in talks with oBo

The 15-year-old American would initially join the bench of coL.

According to a report from Dexerto, compLexity are in discussions to sign Owen "oBo" Schlatter to their roster. Due to the player being 15-years-old and the ESL Pro League having an age restriction of 16-years-old, oBo would not initially join the active lineup.

oBo is known for his play in NA FPL, where he has won seven weeks. This puts him at third place in the overall week win leaderboard, behind eUnited members Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado and Victor "food" Wong.

The report does not specify what the roster would look like if oBo joins or what would happen to current stand-in Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert. compLexity is next set to play in ECS Season 7 Week 2, followed by ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas starting in April. Unlike EPL, ECS does not have an age restriction, and thus oBo would be able to play with compLexity.

This signing follows a theme of the compLexity organization signing young talents, starting with Sam "s0m" Oh last year, who is currently a streamer for the American organization. Previously, NRG was pegged as an organization to sign oBo as a streamer, as mentioned in a Sources Say article. Dust2.us can confirm that NRG was in talks with oBo, but the move fell through.
