EliGE, TACO, and zews got together in São Paulo for one final rodeo

Team coldzera defeat Team TACO & EliGE at Go For Gaming charity event

The majority of the donations from the event will go towards Liga Solidária, a Brazilian non-profit.

Liquid's Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski put his Portuguese skills to work yesterday, during a showmatch at a charity event at the Ginásio Mauro Pinheiro in São Paulo, Brazil.

The event in question, Go For Gaming, was created with the following purpose:

Go For Gaming has arisen from this need, in order to defend this cause. Its goal is not only to eradicate stereotypes and prejudices, but also to bring more recognition to professionals in the sector and visibility to the scene, which only continues to grow

The event featured a BO3 of celebrities and streamers, followed by another with professional CS:GO players, all of which were from Brazil save for EliGE.

The two professional teams were composed of players from MIBR, INTZ, Luminosity, Sharks, and Liquid:

  • Brazil Marcelo "coldzera" David
  • Brazil Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe
  • Brazil João "felps" Vasconcellos
  • Brazil Lincoln "fnx" Lau
  • Brazil Renato "nak" Nakano
  • Brazil Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
  • Brazil Wilton "zews" Prado
  • Brazil Henrique "HEN1" Teles
  • Brazil Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles
  • United States Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski

Despite taking an early lead in the series by winning Mirage, Marcelo "coldzera" David's team bounced back to take Inferno and Cache convincingly. Nevertheless, it gave EliGE one last opportunity to play with Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and Wilton "zews" Prado, with the pair now departed to MIBR.
