Sonic helped Bravado bounce back after a loss to Signify

Bravado win DreamHack Invitational Mumbai

The South Africans were able to battle back after unexpectedly dropping down to the lower bracket.

Bravado have claimed victory over Signify at DreamHack Invitational Mumbai, taking the Grand Final 2-1.

It was not all smooth sailing to get there for the South Africans, however, as they were stunned by Signify earlier in the upper bracket final, where they lost two close maps tothe Indian/Vietnamese/German team. It was the trio of Debanjen "DeathMakeR" Das, Tejas "Ace" Sewant and Cong "crazyguy" Anh Ngo who helped power the international squad over our resident South Africans.

This setup a rematch between Bravado and Signify, and Signify continued to impress by taking a third (and different) map from the South Africans, and in convincing fashion.

With their backs against the wall, Train got off to a rough start for Bravado, as they trailed 9-6 at the half. Luckily, they put on a defensive show at the side switch, taking ten rounds nearly flawlessly.

In the final map of the series and event, the two teams faced off on Dust 2 again, and Bravado clearly did their homework from earlier, demolishing Signify to the tune of 16-2.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
GGWP.
Great job by Bravado, but awesome fight by Signify. Give them a little bit more time, and I’m sure they will be pretty scary in Asia.
