First round of playoffs complete at NSG Eastern Conference Championship
The round-of-12 has concluded here in Atlantic City, and for the most part there was not much to write home about, as the majority of the favorites emerged victorious, and convincingly so. In fact in the first three series, the underdog team managed to tally double-digit rounds only once out of a total six maps.

Ryan "Snakes" Amann, Andy "vSa" Xu, and Bryce "PureR" Lovell did the heavy lifting for their respective teams in the three stomps.
The final series between Thunder Logic and The Tourists was slightly more interesting, with The Tourists forced to field only four players at the start of the first map. Ramal "Rampage" Silva took advantage, and also Cache, 16-7.
Overpass was close throughout, with The Tourists (at full strength now) holding a 9-6 lead at the half. They were unable to carry that advantage forward, however, and the map went to overtime, in which Thunder Logic went a perfect 4-0 to achieve the upset.
