RenZ is on the lookout

RenZ leaves ex-Velocity

After the team suffered relegation, RenZ is looking for a new home.

Austin "RenZ" Dickman has announced through Twitter that he is looking for a new team for the upcoming ESEA season.

RenZ had been a member of ex-Velocity since the start of the season, having joined alongside Joel "jcrueL" Cruel to replace Sebastian "retchy" Tropiano and Daniel "tropiiical" Elshani. Another change was made ten days later, and their roster instability meant they finished in the bottom five with a 7-12 record - meaning they had to take part in the MDL Relegation tournament.

That MDL relegation tournament ended prematurely for them; knocked out in the first round of the lower bracket after a 0-2 defeat to ETHEREAL (12-16 Mirage and 4-16 Train), having been sent there after a 1-2 defeat to Masked (16-5 Nuke, 9-16 Mirage, 11-16 Cache). This means the team are headed to the next season of ESEA Advanced, and will have to start a rebuild operation to do so.

RenZ's departure means the ex-Velocity roster is as follows:

  • United States Lucas "fiziq" Blow
  • United States Noah "ULTRA" Giesbrecht
  • United States Joel "jcrueL" Cruel
  • United States Bradley "mickey" Waddington
  • United States Sean "ashen" Yang (Coach)
