More MDL teams field stand-ins in final IEM Katowice qualifier
A number of MDL teams will field slightly different rosters for the final IEM Katowice Minor open qualifier. Ben "ben1337" Smith has appeared on Vireo.pro's roster, replacing Donovan "zNf" Froid who was benched following the team's loss to cantwinalan in the MDL Season 29 semifinals.
Former Test Takers player Matthew "no_one" Congdon will also return to play in place of Josh "shinobi" Abastado due to the player picking up a new PC, while Infamous will be fielding Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley instead of Tyler "tweiss" Weiss as he is "still celebrating Thanksgiving 5 days later" according to teammate Mike "real_bM" Desanto. Peter "ptr" Gurney will also make his debut on Test Takers after opting to sit out MDL Season 29.
Just two spots remain in the Americas Minor closed qualifier, with Infamous, Test Takers, and Vireo.pro all clamoring to claim the final slots. The three teams' rosters for the final open qualifier are:
