masq and friends win latest Zehn Masters WAN

The Team X member and her squad are $1,200 richer after a flawless bracket.

The team from San Antonio featuring Brianna "masq" Becker have triumphed over a squad from the Novastar LAN center in the third season of $1,500 Zehn Masters WAN tournament.

The Zehn Masters features a unique format in which teams from different regions compete to see  who will represent their specific LAN center in the  main tournament. The teams then play the main event from the (hopeful) comfort of their respective LAN location.

The Texans breezed through the bracket, not dropping a single map during the event. While exotic's team from Kansas City did give them a scare in the third round, masq's side stood strong.

The grand final wound up being a rematch between the two units, with San Antonio having a one map advantage in the Best of 3. The match was again close on Mirage, but LFG emerged the victors to the tune of 16-13.

The split of the $1,500 pot breaks down as follows:

1. masq, figment, reagan, dreams, shaw - $1,200
2. lowrider, exotic, bowman, pand3, TRULS - $300

The full bracket is available here.
