Four teams qualify for Main, eight for Intermediate in first qualifiers
The first qualifiers for the ESEA Main and Intermediate divisions have completed, with four teams advancing to Main and eight teams making it to IM. Hysteria, Integrity Knights, Betty and Nancy's frag squad, and Blacked Raw have qualified for Main while xirts mix, Hentai Legends, Gods, edges FAM, Nerve, Lifted, 5 Beats Per Minute, and Repulsive Mailbox have secured spots in Intermediate.
Hysteria took down Les Piments in their final match, winning 2-0 (16-11 Cache, 16-6 Mirage). Malick "dangle" Abid was the key player for Hysteria over both maps, putting up an impressive 30 kills on Cache. Integrity Knights also beat superhentai 2-0 (16-11 Mirage, 16-7 Inferno). Nicholas "Gh0st" Graham put up 26 kills on map one, while Ray "Rarkar" Xu had two quadruple kills on Inferno.
In the closest game of the Main qualifier, Betty and Nancy's frag squad beat Gods with Attitude 2-1 (14-16 Inferno, 16-13 Mirage, 16-14 Overpass). Mike "CoStanzz" Costanzo put up 28 frags on Inferno to help edge his team the win, while Chad "Oderus" Miller and Dallas "Dallas" Micks stepped up big on the two remaining maps to allow the frag squad to complete the victory. In the final match of the Main qualifier, Blacked Raw took down UCF Knights 2-0 (16-12 Mirage, 16-8 Nuke). eli-m- had quite a lot of impact on Mirage, with 25 kills, a quadruple kill, and a 1v2 clutch win while Jacky picked up 29 kills on Nuke.
Here are the four rosters who qualified for Main:
Hysteria (Mundle, dangle, HIA, kNIGHTMARE, jitter)- Integrity Knights (Ayumi, Gh0st, nebula, plzdontlaugh, SkyShark)
- Betty and Nancy's frag squad (Dallas, emode, Douglas, Oderus, MAKKA)
- Blacked Raw (Jacky, HELLBANIANZ, eli-m-, zepps, popflash)
For the Intermediate qualifier, xirts mix kicked off by defeating DMFrenzy 2-0 (16-3 Inferno, 16-9 Cache). Hentai Legends followed that up with their own win over Neutralize 2-0 (16-5 Mirage, 16-10 Overpass). Gods then beat sWs Money CREW 2-1 (11-16 Mirage, 16-8 Train, 16-4 Cache). edges FAM finished up the first half of the matches by taking down Leftovers 2-0 (16-12 Mirage, 16-12 Inferno).
On the other side, Nerve took the win against The Huns 2-1 (16-6 Inferno, 15-19 Mirage, 16-5 Cache). The final three matches ended in forfeit wins for Lifted, 5 Beats Per Minute, and Repulsive Mailbox over MonKaGiga, GeorgiaEducation, and sled gang respectively.

The second Main qualifier is set to take place January 5th while the second Intermmediate qualifier will take place on January 6th.
