This will be steel's second stint with Luminosity

chelo and Apoka to NTC; Luminosity fortify roster with steel and zakk

First reported by TeamPlay last week, the move has now been confirmed.

The move has been announced two days ahead of the roster lock date for ESL Pro League, at which point teams will be unable to make further changes. steel previously represented the Luminosity colors in late 2015, before being removed along with Ricard "boltz" Prass.

With the change in place, Luminosity's roster is now:

  • Brazil Gustavo "yeL" Knittel
  • Brazil Vinicios "PKL" Coelho
  • Brazil Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves
  • Brazil Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
  • Brazil Lucas "steel" Lopes
  • Brazil Rafael "zak" Fernandes (Coach)

And NTC's roster is now:

  • Brazil Bruno "bit" Lima
  • Brazil Lincoln "fnx" Lau
  • Brazil João "felps" Vasconcellos
  • Brazil Vito "kNg" Giuseppe
  • Brazil Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes
  • Brazil Alessandro "Apoka" Marcucci (Coach)

The next matches for Luminosity will come as the team closes out their ESL Pro League Season 7 campaign. The team recently announced that they would not be participating in the qualifier for ESL One Belo Horizonte in order to focus on trying to qualify for EPL Finals.

As of now, NTC are slated to play in the ESL One Belo Horizonte qualifier. The team will look to put their checkered history over the past few months behind them.
