Fragadelphia announces Winter Champs circuit details

North America will have ten LAN events to look forward to in the next in the next five months.

Fragadelphia have released more details regarding their plans for Nerd Street Gamer's Winter Champs circuit for CS:GO, which will see nine LAN events and six online events played out in the leadup to Fragadelphia 16 on March 4th.

The Winter Champs circuit was initially teased at Fragadelphia 15, with the biggest change being the decision to transition Fragadelphia 16 away from open signups to a points-based invite system. Teams will earn spots in Fragadelphia 16 by competing in a number of online events, regional LANs, and national LANs.

Additionally, for teams that are not in the top sixteen of the standings by the end of the circuit, Fragadelphia will hold a final last chance qualifier the day before Fragadelphia 16, March 3rd, to determine the final eight teams in the event. The full breakdown of the circuit can be read here.

Each of the regional LAN events will have a $2,500 prizepool and will feature up to 16 teams:

Each of the online events will feature a $2,000 prizepool and up to 32 teams:

Note: dates for the online events are subject to change based on conflicts with other events.

Finally, each of the Fragadelphia Major LANs will feature an impressive $10,000 prizepool and up to 32 teams:

In total, Fragadelphia and Nerd Street Gamers will be offering up $57,000 in the leadup to Fragadelphia 16!
