LOS spent barely two months in North America

LOS releases squad, leaves NA

They came, they did adequately for a new team, and they left.

LOS have decided not only to leave North America, but to release their entire squad in a sudden move. The team had been performing quite well in North America as they were making deep runs in qualifier events and were first in ESEA Advanced.

The team had first moved to North America this year when they were a surprising signup for the PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR Open Qualifiers. According to Dust2 Brasil, all players, except Paulo "short" Ballardini, are playing for LOS on loan from their respective organizations, Imperial, Fluxo, and Case.

LOS was last seen in North America in April 2023, when the organization put their Counter-Strike division on hold after the departure of talismanic player Pedro "Maluk3" Campos. LOS had not been active in CS until December 29th, when Dust2 Brasil revealed the organization was in talks to sign a completely new roster for 2024.

In the announcement, LOS explained that the team had agreed to mutually part ways after the organization realized changes were needed which was something they did not want to pursue.

In the beginning of the year, we had some opportunities and built a team, coming back to our CS trajectory, a project that our fans always wanted to see back.

After 60 days of hard work, we reached today, in a mutual agreement, the end of this partnership.

During this period of time, we identified the necessity to make changes of direction and plans, something that for us as an organization is not interesting.

This way, we wish our athletes all success, hoping to see them in the future.

To our fans we say "see you later" in this title, where we will keep studying the market to choose a project aligned with our DNA

LOS had consisted of:

  • Brazil Allan "history" Lawrenz

  • Brazil Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho

  • Brazil Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian

  • Brazil Leonardo "leo_drk" Oliveira

  • Brazil Paulo "short" Ballardini

  • Brazil Jhonatan "jnt" Silva (Coach)
