yungher had high praises for friends Olga and poppins

yungher on Olga: "She tried to let me go with her [to HSG]"

It was all positivity coming from the B4 fe camp.

To continue Dust2.us' coverage of the ESL Impact Season 3 Finals in Dallas, Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore caught up with B4 fe's Giovanna "yungher" Yungh following their nail-biting 14-16 loss to NAVI Javelins. The two talked about her relationships with Olga "Olga" Rodrigues, teammate Nadjila "poppins" Sanchez Rodrigues, and more.

Please note that the full interview can be found below on YouTube, while the transcript has some key snippets from their conversation.

You started off very strong against the Polish team, at one point being up 6-0, and ultimately you finished 14-16. Walk us through what went wrong in the game that allowed you to slip away?

Well, I think that we lose when we started to think too much. We just had to do this simple and we didn't. I think that's it.

I wanted to ask you about your earlier match as well. You beat Black Dragons early in the day and that was your former organization before joining B4, how did it feel to beat your old organization? How does it feel to sort of maintain dominance in your rivalry?

It's really good because we've kind of proved that they lost a lot, so I guess that's it, but the girls aren't our enemies. Actually, we are too much of friends so when the game was over we talked to each other, we hug each other we kind of consoled them… It's cool to win but it's also sad for them.

Earlier in the day we interviewed poppins, and one thing I find very interesting with the team is all of the other four you and the other three of your teammates are all older more senior players, in your late 20s or mid to late 20s, while Poppins is only 17 and she's really new to competitive Counter-Strike. I wanted to ask you with that, why did you decide to bring her onto the team and how are you helping her be ready for all of this when she's you know so young?

Well, we always wanted her on our team but when she came on the team she was 15 and she couldn't play ESL. Only at 16, you can play, so was really hard for us because that's the lineup that we always wanted, to be with her. So when we convinced her to come back, was the best thing, because we proved to her that she can do this and she can be the best because she's so strong and she's so young. I don't know, she blows my mind.

Another Brazilian star here at this event is Olga and I wanted to ask you, what do you think about her decision to go to the Asian scene?

Well, Olga is also my best friend and I think that I was the first person that she came to talk about [her move to HSG fe]. I don't know if I can say this, but she tried to let me go with her, but I didn't want to go. I was always incentivizing her to go because it was a huge opportunity. She's the best. I think it was the best thing for her.

HSG fe and Black Dragons fe are playing each other, is it going to be heartbreaking for you to either eliminate Olga or eliminate your friends on Black Dragons?

It will be hard because we are such friends that we always want the best [for each other] but it's a game and it's competitive and I am competitive.

B4 fe will face off against the winner of Black Dragons fe and HSG fe today in the Group A decider series.
