In a throwback to their RMR encounter, Overpass did not disappoint.

After a dismal performance on Inferno for Complexity, it seemed like the North American squad would be the second team from the region to exit ESL Pro League Season 17 with a whimper rather than a bang. Fortunately for COL fans and fans of great CS:GO alike, Johnny "JT" Theodosiou was able to rally the troops on Ancient and force the series into a nail-biter on Overpass. Here are Dust2.us' top five plays from the 48-round slugfest between the two fan-favorite teams.

#5: United States floppy 3k vs. Brazil Imperial on Overpass Triple Overtime

While Ricky "floppy" Kemery's 3k from Heaven wasn't the biggest spectacle, it was an excellent display of mechanical skill from one of NA's best riflers. This deep into a grueling series results are what ultimately matter on the server, and that's what floppy delivered in round 43.

With quick thinking and excellent game sense, Imperial's IGL, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, showed he can still blow minds in the twilight of his career.

#2: JT & hallzerk 2v5 Clutch vs. Brazil Imperial on Overpass Triple Overtime

Whether it was a blunder from Imperial or magic on the server from JT and Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli, Complexity won't be complaining. The dynamic duo came alive to win a 2v5 to give Complexity an all-important lead that would pave the way for a win on Overpass.

#1: JT 1v4 Clutch vs. Brazil Imperial on Overpass Match Point

A round that will be in JT's highlight reel for the rest of his career. Despite not being known for his fragging prowess, JT dealt out death against Imperial in an amazing 1v4 clutch to force a second overtime. When the chips were down, JT did what it took to keep his team's dreams alive in ESL Pro League Season 17.
