00 Nation confirm acquisition of GODSENT trio

00 Nation have announced the acquistion of Epitácio "TACO" de Melo, Bruno "latto" Rebelatto, and Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer alongside Olavo "chucky" Napoleão and Alan "adr" Riveros from GODSENT. This overhaul by acquisition brings an end to weeks of rumors which were first reported by Dust2.com.br at the start of June.

The newly-signed trio managed to impress during their time with GODSENT, helping the side stay consistently within the top-30 while also peaking at twelfth in the world rankings back in January. Despite this, the squad also suffered drastic shortcomings, such as their failure to qualify for the PGL Antwerp Major after being unable to make their way through the open qualifier for the respective Americas RMR.

This new iteration of the 00 Nation lineup will also reunite TACO and Marcelo "coldzera" David, with the duo last playing alongside each other under the MIBR banner back in 2019. Prior to this, the pair made history after winning back-to-back Majors in 2016 whilst also taking home several other LAN trophies.

The Norwegian organization will be hoping that these signings can help steer the team's ship back on course after being unable to make deep runs in any of the tournament appearances. This notably saw the roster bow out of the PGL Antwerp Americas RMR in 12th-14th place with an upset win versus Liquid being their only notably result from the tournament.

This new 00 Nation lineup will already be making their debut at ESL Challenger Valencia tomorrow, with their first game set to be versus Outsiders on July 1st at 07:50AM.
