X13 announce updated roster with aris, halo, KayJay, and Valkenn
X13 have announced their updated roster for 2022, adding Paul "aris" Wilson and Alec "halo" Sacry to complete the starting five while also adding Kieran "KayJay" Playfair as the team's coach and Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady as an analyst.
This move sees aris, now the team's IGL, return to X13 after leaving on December 19th to seek out offers from ESL Challenger League teams.
X13 fell short of qualifying to ESL Challenger League Season 40 after finishing ESEA Premier Season 39 Relegation in fourth-place. Despite this, it now seems that X13 along with Detonate will be playing in the division according to a tweet from KayJay.
Dust2.us knows that both teams have been told they will be playing ESL Challenger League Season 40 however the actual makeup of the league is still in a state of flux. Dust2.us has reached out to ESL for clarification on the matter but have not received a reply at the time of publication.
