Isurus Gaming and Team Mexico advance to WESG Americas Regional Finals
The grand final of WESG Argentina saw favorites Gale Force, who just finished their ESEA MDL campaign in first, facing off against Isurus.
The match that most people would have given to Gale Force on paper, did not go as planned for the best Argentinian team in the world. Fielding Javier "OmegaRed" López as a stand-in for Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez due to nationality rules, and with Tomás "tomi" Guardia playing with high ping due to remaining in the United States, Isurus quickly overhwhelmed Gale Force on two consecutive maps.
The WESG Mexico qualifier was even less of a thriller, with Kukulkan inexplicably forfeiting the match to Team Mexico. Team Mexico, clearly the favorites of the Mexican qualifier, is composed of the aforementioned MarKE, as well as other well-known Mexican players — three of which represented the country at last years WESG event.

The qualifier for WESG Peru will commence tomorrow, as of now over fifteen teams are registered for their chance to make a splash on the global CS scene.
