seangares... now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time

ez money for seangares' squad and more advancing to DH Valencia Closed Qualifier

The FPL-powered mix made it through the open qualifier gauntlet along with Swole Patrol, Gorilla Gang, and Bravado.

The DreamHack Open Valencia Open Qualifier has come to an end, with four teams progressing to the Closed portion of the proceedings tomorrow.

The South Africans of Bravado were tossed a free win by Botsu before having to take on Torqued. The newly-minted MDL squad were able to narrowly upset the Global Challenge-bound squad led by Josh "steel" Nissan, 16-14.

Gorilla Gang and took down Stacked Like Pancakes, before running into the down on their luck side of Dignitas, who are having as much success using a consistent roster as they are finding wins right now. Despite the usage of old mate Ryan "Snakes" Amann, Dignitas were unable to top Anthony "Vanity" Malaspina and his men.

In the lower half of the bracket, both Swole Patrol and the mix of ez money crew (featuring Sean "seangares" Gares, Peter "ptr" Gurney, Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, Sam "s0m" Oh and Jake "theTRUTH" Hass) made relatively short work of their opponents, ranging from Armada to Squirtle Squad.

The Closed Qualifier will commence tomorrow at 2 PM EDT with the following match-ups:

compLexity vs. United States ez money crew
United States Swole Patrol vs. United States eUnited
Brazil Luminosity vs. Bravado
United States Gorilla Gang vs. United States Rogue

Will "dazzLe" Loafman is clearly excited about the opportunity to play Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir and Swole Patrol again:
