crashies has won the first North American FPL qualifier

crashies flies through FPL qualifier, lands spot in FPL

Two final matches allowed crashies to secure himself a point lead and a slot in FPL.

The first North American FPL qualifier has come to a close, with Austin "crashies" Roberts earning his way into FACEIT's Pro League following a hard-fought last minute race for first.

Earlier in the evening crashies found himself a mere two points ahead of Ben "ben1337" Smith and Ryan "Winsum" Johns, with the end of the qualifer drawing near. The final two matches of the night came down to crashies and Winsum leading teams against one another, with crashies' team taking both wins to extend his lead.

These final match wins ensured crashies his spot in FPL, where he'll join members of SK, Cloud9, and other professional teams as he looks to improve himself further. He'll also be up against Edgar "MarKE" Jimenez, who won five consecutive weeks of FPL before being dethroned by the FPL-C newcomer Victor "food" Wong this past week.

The full standings for the first NA FPL Qualifier can be found on FACEIT's website.
