Liquid, NRG, OpTic headline IEM Sydney Closed Qualifier invites
ESL have announced the teams and bracket for the North American closed qualifier for IEM Sydney.
With two open qualifier spots left open, with said open qualifier taking place tomorrow, the full bracket isn't yet known. The closed qualifier is set to begin on the 29th, finishing on the 30th with just the champion securing a spot at IEM Sydney on May 1st.
With Cloud9, SK and Renegades already receiving direct invites to the event, the remaining North American teams have slotted right into the closed qualifier. High-flying teams Liquid and NRG are already set in, with Torqued also receiving an invite. Rogue miss out as they're set to be attending Copenhagen Games in Denmark during the qualifier dates.

Both of the open and closed qualifiers are to be single-elimination brackets. Sign-ups for the open qualifier are still open on the ESEA site.
