AZR and co. were in high spirits as they drove through HellRaisers

Renegades comfortably dispatch HellRaisers; to playoffs

The Australian side were solid throughout as they continue their tournament life.

The first of the final Swiss knock-out games were between Renegades and HellRaisers, as the Australians looked for their first qualification out of a Swiss-based system. The two sides went to battle on Nuke, Cache and Cobblestone.

Nuke began with Renegades securing the pistol round on their T-side, before following on to collect the two anti-eco rounds. The first buy round also went the way of the Australians, before HellRaisers secured a CZ-forcebuy win in the round immediately following.

From there HellRaisers pushed on to control the remainder of the half. With Özgür "woxic" Eker controlling numerous rounds for his team, they easily equaled the game out. Although Renegades secured a round to keep their lead, HellRaisers started a run to kill that off. With HellRaisers looking strong, Renegades took the final round of the half to limit their opponents lead to just 9-6.

The second half began with HellRaisers' T-side beginning with the pistol round, but not before Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and Justin "jks" Savage combined on a CZ-force to block their opponents run. From there the Australians were in control, comfortably taking rounds in the game to swiftly even up the scores.

The two sides then traded rounds as HellRaisers attempted to stay ahead, but not before the Australians started to pull ahead in the game. With Renegades 13-11 ahead, Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow picked up three kills to allow his team back in to even the game up. But the Australians weren't going to go lying down, with Karlo "USTILO" Pivac putting in a strong performance , going from there to the end for a relatively comfortable 16-13 win.

Cache began with Renegades securing the pistol round and two anti-ecos on the T-side, before securing the first buy round. From there the Australians started to dominantly take the lead, with Aaron "AZR" Ward and USTILO coming alive in the opening rounds of the map.

But HellRaisers finally turned up to the map, taking two comfortable rounds with woxic securing four kills. But from there the Australian side returned fire to properly assert their lead, effectively owning the server they were playing on. Although HellRaisers secured the final two rounds of the half, Renegades were 11- 4 ahead.

HellRaisers performed a successful fake to secure the pistol round on their T-side, before a Renegades forcebuy, reset their opponents before HellRaisers performed the exact same in reverse. Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk and co. pushed on for another round before Renegades ramped up their defenses to get back into the lead.

From there the Australians secured the next few rounds to secure match and map point, before HellRaisers delayed the games' end. But it was Noah "Nifty" Francis to secure four kills, after using a fairly nifty boost for a 16-8 win.
