Misfits bow down to G2
The final game of round two saw the last two 1-0 teams from yesterday face off in the French G2 and the American-French Misfits.
Cobblestone started off with a quick lead for G2 as Richard "shox" Papillon cleaned up Misfits for a 5-0 score. Misfits took a sole round, but lost the following one, resetting their economy. The North American side got close in a few rounds, but when Sean "seang@res" Gares is at the top of the scoreboard, not much can be expected. shox and Kenny "kennyS" Schrub proceeded to close out a 14-1 half for G2.
Misfits stayed alive by taking the pistol round and Hunter "SicK" Mims helped Misfits to complete the 3-0 start. They couldn't keep the momentum going for long however, as Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro puts G2 onto match point and then closes it out 16-5.
