ELEAGUE reveal Boston Major first round matchups & talent
With the opening bouts of the Major inching ever nearer, ELEAGUE have announced the first round of matchups for The New Challengers stage (previously the Major Main Qualifier).
The New Challengers stage consists of the bottom eight teams from the previous Major, PGL Krakow in July of 2017, and eight "new challengers" from a branch of regional qualifiers around the world. Groups are initially seeded by the teams who placed furthest in the major, with Cloud9, FlipSid3, Na`Vi and G2 claiming top seeds.
The New Challengers stage is followed by The New Legends stage. Both stages utilize the Swiss system, wherein the first round of matchups will see the sixteen seeded teams face off in eight matches. The first round of matchups are as follows:

ELEAGUE have also revealed the talent bringing the action to the ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta. Richard Lewis returns as ELEAGUE's staple desk host, joined by a rotating panel of commentators and analysts. Sue "Smix" Lee will conduct interviews while Yanko "YNk" Paunovic will reside solely on the desk. The remaining pool of talent will rotate between commentating and desk appearances, as ELEAGUE have done for their most recent ELEAGUE Premier season.
