A strong performance from kNgV- was unable to stop INTZ from going 0-3

INTZ eliminated from StarLadder Major Berlin

While INTZ were eliminated, NRG stabilized, Complexity finally found a win, and FURIA face elimination.

Day two of the StarLadder Berlin Major New Challengers stage has ended, with INTZ being the first team from the Americas eliminated, while the rest fight on.

In the first match of the day, NRG took on Syman in the 1-1 pool. Despite losing the pistol round, NRG got off to a dominant start on the Terrorist half of Inferno. The North American side was able to acquire five rounds before Syman could respond, with the CIS squad only being able to secure a single round of their own before succumbing to NRG once again.

After the 13-2 half lead, NRG picked up the first two rounds in order to make their way to match point. Syman attempted the start of a comeback with two rounds of their own, but were unable to close it out, with NRG taking the game 16-4.

The third match of the day saw Complexity take on TYLOO to avoid elimination. Starting on Overpass, Complexity got off to a strong start as they ended their CT-side up 10-5. Following this, Complexity managed to further entrench their lead as they found the four out of the next six rounds to climb up to 14-7. With Overpass on the line, TYLOO surprised as they managed to mount a major comeback, only allowing Complexity a single round thus forcing overtime. In overtime, the two squads spent the first overtime trading rounds before Complexity lept ahead in the second overtime to secure the map 22-20.

Moving onto the second map, after a close match on Overpass, Vertigo proved to be the exact opposite as Complexity overran TYLOO's defenses to secure a 13-2 T-side before closing out the map 16-2.

Moving onto the second best-of-three series of the day,  INTZ faced off against Grayhound with their tournament life on the line. Starting on Train, INTZ gave a poor showing as Grayhound quickly won the map 16-5 after a strong 11-4 CT-side. Following this, INTZ gave a markedly better showing on Nuke as they won five out the first six rounds. However, the Brazilians were unable to maintain their lead as Grayhound answered back to secure an 8-7 lead at the end of the half. Continuing onto their T-side INTZ continued to struggle though with the help of a massive performance from Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe, INTZ won Nuke 16-14. With the series tied up, INTZ looked lost once again as the squad was out gunned on Dust2. Grayhound managed to wall out INTZ to secure a 11-4 CT-side before closing out the map 16-7. With their loss against Grayhound, INTZ are the first squad from the Americas to exit the StarLadder Berlin Major.
