NRG narrowly defeat NiP in Odense
The match on Overpass between NRG and NiP began with the North American/European contingent picking up the pistol and the ensuing rounds on the Terrorist side. A 3v1 attempt from Jacob "FugLy" Medina nearly brought NRG a fourth, but Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg had other ideas and secured NiP their first round.
Victory was shortlived for the Swedes, however, as Allan "AnJ" Jensen delivered another triple for NRG that would reset NiP, and NRG would extend their lead to 7-1. From here, NiP seemingly got their feet under them, and the half ended with NRG having a modest 9-6 lead.
NiP would win the second-half pistol on the back of four kills from f0rest, and take the next two rounds to equalize the score line. A four round spurt from NRG brought them dangerously close to ending the match with a 13-9 score. Some round trading saw NRG leading 15-11, backing the Swedes against the wall. Not to be daunted, NiP fought back to bring the score to within one round, but NRG were finally able to take it over the edge.
