After falling to Luminosity in the first group stage, FalleN and MIBR will have on more chance to qualify to the EPL Finals

ESL Pro League second stage groups announced

Two more spots in the finals will be up for grabs in the coming weeks.

A week after the conclusion of the first group stage, ESL have announced the groups for the second stage. Two four-team groups will face off to determine the final two teams from the Americas for EPL Finals LAN in Montpellier, France.

In Group A, MIBR is the top-ranked team, currently sitting at sixth on the ESL World Rankings. They notably missed their shot at directly qualifying to the finals, following a 2-0 loss to Brazilian rivals Luminosity. In Group B, Cloud9 lead the group, one spot ahead of Ghost.  Additionally, each group has received one of the Latin American teams, with Isurus in Group A, and Infinity in Group B. 

Group A and Group B are as follows:

Round 2 of the ESL Pro League Season 9 is set to begin on May 14th, with the opening  match seeing Renegades face off against compLexity.
