Four teams qualify to Main for Season 31

Another ESEA higher qualification cup has concluded, seeing four teams being sent up the ladder to the Main division.

After surviving six rounds of best-of-one matches, the final eight teams were pitted against each other in best-of-three series. The most notable person taking part was former Noble player Chris "roa" Gretchen, whose Animosity squad fell to Midwest CS:GO 2-0.

The four teams who have earned promotion to Main are:

• Moscow Five Yankees (EmpLy, Glazer, tem, K4li, kingslayer)
• Midwest CS:GO (yuyu, dbartdog, MistR, Pure_Penguinz, m4rz)
• TARPS OFF BOYS (kenny, gamerfreak, verde, Sadboy, Mars)
• Resurgency (Jaden, Kats, TheNomad, r0bless, Bunny)

Among the qualified teams, there is a smattering of Advanced experience, but the overwhelming majority have spent their careers in Main or below.

ESEA Season 31 is set to begin this upcoming Monday, April 29th.
