Swani will look to help NRG further improve upon their results

Swani stays afloat on NRG

The former Liquid and MIBR analyst has a new home for the start of 2019.

Former MIBR and Liquid analyst Jan "Swani" Müller has announced on Twitter that he has joined NRG, joining coach Chet "ImAPet" Singh as the two work to prepare for matches and tournaments in the coming year.

Swani previous did analyst work for ALTERNATE aTTaX before making the move to Liquid at the start of 2017, aiding Wilton "zews" Prado with anti-stratting and the veto process during his tenure. As the year drew to a close, Swani returned to his roots by linking up with the German organization of SK, looking to help Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's roster regain their position as the #1 team in the world.

He migrated over to MIBR with the rest of the team in June 2018, but remained with the organization for just one additional month before parting ways. Since his departure, Swani has been on the lookout for another team, with ImAPet now offering him the chance on NRG.

NRG ended 2018 on a high note, winning cs_summit 3 and remaining in the HLTV top ten teams at number eight. Damian "daps" Steele and co. also eliminated MIBR from IEM Chicago in the lower bracket semifinal before closing out the year with a runner-up finish at SuperNova CS:GO Malta and earning a spot at the IEM Katowice Americas Minor.

NRG's roster is now:

  • United States Jacob "FugLy" Medina
  • United States Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte

  • Canada Damian "daps" Steele
  • United States Ethan "nahtE" Arnold
