The former Luminosity player will return on INTZ

Report: INTZ look towards yeL and further changes

Another player from INTZ may be on the way out.

On the heels of a report from ESPN Esports Brazil that INTZ were looking to Lucas "destiny" Bullo to replace João "felps" Vasconcellos, who is seemingly bound for a spot in MIBR, another report from Draft5 has revealed that INTZ are looking to make a second move with the addition of Gustavo "yeL" Knittel in place of João "horvy" Horvath.

yeL has been on Luminosity's bench since the start of December, when he was sidelined from the team to bring on Ricardo "boltz" Prass. If the move was to come to fruition, yeL would return to ESL Pro League for another season, while his former team of Luminosity have already been relegated from the league following a last place finish in Season 8.

The move would also see yeL reunite with former WinOut and Luminosity teammates Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes and Lucas "destiny" Bullo, and also sees the player pair up once again with the team's coach Alessandro "Apoka" Marcucci.

With the move, INTZ's roster for the upcoming year should look as follows:

  • Brazil Vito "kNgV-" Guiseppe
  • Brazil Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes
  • Brazil Alexandre "xand" Zizi
  • Brazil Lucas "destiny" Bullo
  • Brazil Gustavo "yeL" Knittel
  • Brazil Alessandro "Apoka" Marcucci (Coach)

INTZ had a middling run at PLG Grand Slam, picking up group stage wins over BOOT-d[S] and Chosen5 before falling in the quarterfinals to forZe. They are next slated to compete at the IEM Katowice Americas Minor, set to run in the new year from January 22-26.
