An unspecified health issue kept Golden from playing yesterday

Golden returns to action on day two of BLAST Copenhagen

And Cloud9 have continued their good form in the Danish capital.

After being forced to sit out the first day of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen due to being hospitalized, Cloud9 in-game leader Maikil "Golden" Selim announced that he would be playing the second day of the tournament.

With the team fielding coach Soham "valens" Chowdhury in place of the Swede, the American/European side kicked off their event with a close match against Natus Vincere, before an upset victory over MIBR. These results saw them end the first day tied for second with Astralis, trailing FaZe and NiP.

With Golden back on the server, Cloud9 just took down EPICENTER champions FaZe, and currently sit in second place behind NiP. The team has matches against NiP and Astralis remaining in Copenhagen ocurring later today, as they look to secure a spot in the Grand Final.
