With Spacestation out, the final match will see oNe and Mythic duke it out

Spacestation fall out of orbit in the Gfinity Spring Series; Mythic proceed to grand finals

Oh, how the tables have turned.

After falling to Mythic in the upper bracket semifinals earlier this month, Spacestation trudged their way through the lower bracket, reaching the lower bracket finals, where they were originally set to rematch against the stream team.

However, despite the team's strong performance in the bracket and in MDL, Spacestation have forfeited the match, giving Mythic a free ticket to the Gfinity Winter Series grand finals.

Spacestation's forfeit likely came as a result of the team's recent roster change, which saw the additions of David "DAVEY" Stafford and Chad "Oderus" Miller to the team's active lineup. Due to CEVO rules, the team were likely unable to field the two players and did not have substitutes lined up beforehand.

Forfeiting the series, Spacestation go out in third place, taking home $2,000 of the $15,000 prize pool. Mythic move on to the grand finals, where they will play a rematch against the Brazilian oNe. The two teams previously clashed in the upper bracket finals, where oNe edged out two 16-4 map wins against the American stream team.

If Mythic win the final, anger needs to attend his next LAN without wearing a hat.

The hat would need to be surgically removed at this point, he wears it 24/7
