First playoff games complete at Fragadelphia 12
The first two blocks of games in the Fragadelphia 12 upper bracket have concluded. Due to the set-up of the tournament, having 52 teams, a round of twenty was held before placing teams into the round-of-16. As well as this, only eight games are to be played at a time.
There were no real upsets coming out of the first set of matches, with MDL teams Mythic, BlackOut and Excelerate securing continued passage through the upper bracket with wins over Dignitas fe, KAIJU and 140 Years of Experience, respectively. The Brazilians of oNe also made quick work of their American opponents.
The next block of games saw the final two games of the first round finish up, with Whatever it Takes falling to Ignite, whilst iNTACT and Hooked went to overtime in their game before xxx secured the match. It also saw the second round commence, where once again the MDL teams came out relatively unscathed, apart from Mythic or BlackOut who suffered defeats to divisional rival Excelerate and oNe respectively.
