The broadcast talent for DreamHack Open Valencia is:

  • United States Tres "stunna" Saranthus — Host

The eight teams will play through a GSL bracket in two groups of four, with the opening and winners' matches being  best-of-ones while the elimination and decider matches will be best-of-threes. A best-of-three single-elimination playoff bracket will round out the tournament.

Notably, North will attend the event with Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas in place of Daniel "mertz" Mertz as they look to test themselves as an international roster, giving mixwell the opportunity to play in front of his home crowd and possibly hinting at future changes for the team.

The groups for the event are as follows:

Group A Group B
Denmark North G2
Heroic Virtus.pro
AGO  Denmark Fragsters
Giants Brazil Luminosity

DreamHack Open Valencia 2018 is set to kick off on July 12th, culminating with the grand final on July 14th.
