Hiko and co. are bowing down on Twickenham, London

Rogue, NRG, Ghost and compLexity all go 2-0 in NA Closed Qualifier

Two of those four teams could potentially see themselves through to the Americas Minor in London.

The second round of Swiss competition in the North America Closed Qualifier for the Americas Minor has concluded, with four teams potentially seeing themselves through to a spot to London tonight. On the other hand, four teams could potentially see their competition hopes ended tonight as well.

The High, 1-0, Matches began with compLexity and Dignitas facing off. The games saw compLexity's North American mixture perform stronger than Dignitas' all-American lineup in both maps, taking a 16-6 win on Inferno before following that up with a 16-8 win on Mirage, with Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan taking a key role on both maps.

Ghost against boxr was the next to conclude, with two close maps both heading the way of Ghost. With Ghost managing to continue remaining infront on Mirage, taking a 16-13 win on that map, it was a closer affair on Train as they forced back a narrow half for another 16-13 win. Kenneth "koosta" Suen was keeping his team afloat, being one of the top two performers on both maps.

Swole Patrol and Bravado was the next to finish, and there wasn't much to say about this game apart from complete American domination. Overpass finished with barely a squeak from Bravado, as the Patrol sweeped up a 16-1 win on the map, before claiming Mirage with a 16-8. Austin "Cooper-" Abadir led the line for his team, picking up a 2.18 on that first map.

The final game to finish up was the absolute battle between two MDL sides, with Freedom 35 facing off against The Pioneers. Dust 2 acted as it usually does being an extremely close affair on both halves, with the Freedom boys narrowly squeaking out a 16-14 win. Nuke was second, and it was a fairly simple win for The Pioneers as they secured a fairly comfortable 16-8 on the map. With Train the decider, The Pioneers took the CT-side advantage to take 11 rounds in the first half, but it wasn't enough as Freedom 35 one-upped them by securing 12 rounds. Their 2-1 win was secured by a 16-13 on Train, with Jonathan "Jonji" Carey managing to hold a 1.41 record over all three maps.
