Are eNergy the next big thing to come out of the South African region?

eNergy hint at possible North American move

The South African team may soon find themselves on the same path as Bravado after revealing overseas opportunities.

You may not be familiar with the name eNergy, but they are the South African team that recently won Season 27 of ESEA Open South Africa. The region which previously flew under the radar for many, has since produced rising stars such as Bravado, who moved to North America just before Season 27 to elevate their CS:GO careers and have since won Main and been promoted to MDL.

The speculation of their potential move came about after a recent Twitlonger by eNergy's team captain, Robby "bLackpoisoN" Da Loca, in which he stated:

We have also had/have the opportunity to go overseas but we felt that some work should be done on this roster before we plan our next big step as doing something like this is a really massive step.

While the Twitlonger's focus was primarily to explain their controversial roster change, in which they they added Gareth "MisteM" Ries in place of  Jan "takbok" Theron, despite his VAC ban on record, this possible emigration may be the bigger takeaway.

The current eNergy roster is as follows:

  •  Robby "bLackpoisoN" Da Loca
  • Dominic "Domsterr" Sampaio
  • Trevor "kaNibalistic" Morley
  • Rieghardt "flexeeee" Romatzki
  •  Gareth "MisteM" Ries

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Always good to see more potential. If they go to NA, I’ll welcome them with mostly open arms.
