DreamHack, CEVO and Cerus announce The Road to DreamHack Austin

The three organizations will be hosting an open tournament that offers up to $1,995 in prizes.

With DreamHack Austin 2018 set to take place between June 1st-3rd, the Swedish company have partnered with tournament platform CEVO and organization Cerus to offer 5 BYOC tickets to the event and $1,500 in travel support.

The online tournament is set to take place over two days, March 31st and April 1st, with Saturday hosting a double-elimination bracket, starting with a best-of-three upper bracket and best-of-one lower bracket. Sunday will host the finals, with the winners claiming the grand prize.

The tournament is set to feature more than that, with Cerus "giving away hundreds of dollars worth of items leading up to and during the tournament", including "DreamHack Austin 3-day spectator passes, board games, Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Grids, and more".

Cost of entry is $3.50/player. More information can be found on the CEVO tournament page, as well as Cerus' Twitter and Twitch pages. Further information on DreamHack Austin can be found on their website.
