Sneaky now looks to be reborn on another team

XotiC returns to Rebirth starting lineup as Sneaky departs

Round and round we go.

Following Rebirth's final MDL match of the season on Friday, David "Sneaky" Polster announced that he would be leaving the team.

The brusque statement brings an end to Sneaky's month-long tenure with the MDL side, which saw them reach MDL playoffs and the closed qualifiers for IEM New York and IEM Beijing-Haidian. Notably, however, the team failed to finish in the money in multiple FPL Cups. He was far and away their best statistical performer during this period.

Sneaky's roster spot will be filled with the familiar personage of Zack "XotiC" Elshani, who had last played for the team on October 15th.

Rebirth are now:

  • Canada Sebastian "retchy" Tropiano
  • United States Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak
  • United States Ali "phantom" Sachs
  • United States Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
  • United States Zack "XotiC" Elshani
  • Canada Sean "Inseaniac" Morrison (Substitute)
  • United States Daniel "tropiiical" Elshani (Substitute)

In their first match without Sneaky, Rebirth secured a 2-1 victory over Mythic to say alive in the lower bracket of the IEM Beijing-Haidian Closed Qualifier, though they were using Rahul "curry" Nemani in place of Ali "Phantom" Sachs. Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak starred for the squad with a 1.65 rating over the series.

Rebirth will face Yeah tomorrow, with the winners moving on to the main event. Following that, they will commence their MDL playoff run with another match against Mythic on Monday.
