FACEIT announce list of organizers for FPL Cups
FACEIT have announced the tournament organizers and schedule for their next six FPL Cups, offering different parts of the North American Counter-Strike community the chance to operate the tournament series that offers points towards a spot in FPL.
As was previously announced, Mythic League will host the first FPL Cup this weekend, with signups remaining open to teams, parties, and solo players until 1:55 PM EDT on Saturday. Notable names currently signed up to compete include Triumph, RBG, New England Whalers, Yeah, and Cloud9.
Other organizers who were announced as the hosts for upcoming tournaments include WINNERS League, who will host the second September Cup, as well as NACCS, Golden League, Dust2.us, and Rush B Media, all of whom will host cups on each weekend in October.
Each match victory in the cups will award the winning players with 15 points on the FPL qualification leaderboard, with an undetermined number of players earning spots in FPL and FPL-C at the end of a two-month period which will conclude on Monday, November 9th. Additionally, each tournament will offer a minimum prize pool of $3,000, with FACEIT stating that they hope to "offer the community a way of crowdfunding the FPL Cups" in order to increase the prize pool sometime in the future through a small entry fee.
