Legend Series qualifier completes, NA LAN participants confirmed

Four Rounds of CS:GO action on one day has confirmed the four teams taking part in the Legend Series NA LAN.

With the online North American qualifiers for the Legend Series complete, the four teams heading to the Esports Arena in Santa Ana for the LAN qualifier have been confirmed.

The 64-team single elimination bracket had the first two rounds working in best-of-ones, before moving to a best-of-three format in the final two rounds. There were some notable teams on their way through the bracket, so here's a brief recap on them and the qualifying teams.

With 64 teams initially signing up to the tournament, not all competed. After the defaulted teams were dealt with, the games continued. CLG Red were one of these teams, reaching the third round with a 16-2 win over Spot Up followed by a 19-15 overtime win from Old But Gold. They eventually fell to Bushido Boyz in the following round. Tempo Storm's Swedish line-up also made a run through the qualifiers, winning 16-5 against Team Voku and 16-3 against Sebench, they then fell 2-0 to Iceberg.

Iceberg vs Bushido Boyz (1-2)

The first of the final round games saw two MDL sides, Iceberg and Bushido Boyz, face off against each other. Bushido took a close first map of Mirage 16-12, after their opponents were narrowly ahead at the half. Iceberg then sneaked through Train on a 19-16 overtime match, after making a comeback on a 11-4 halftime deficit. Bushido ended the tie comfortably on Inferno 16-8.
